Opening – Montage
of people bowling with voice over

We will
open the documentary by having a close-up of Steve’s face in which he is
concentrating where he will roll the ball

3 seconds

We will
then cut to a long shot of Steve getting ready to take his shot, in which he
is posing and getting his positioning right
|
3 seconds

We will
then cut to another long shot of Steve from the back in which he has taken in
shot and is beginning to walk back

Next, we
will cut to the ball rolling down the lane ready to strike the bowling pins
|

Then,
the shot will cut to the ball hitting the pins and it will cause a strike. Once
the strike has appeared, the shutter which clears the pins away will swipe
down and the title ‘Roll With It’ will appear

History of Bowling – The voice over begins and information about the history of bowling
begins. During this there will be old pictures and video clips appearing
which will feature bowling from the past including bowling leagues and titles

Voxpops -
After the opening, we will then cut to Voxpops of numerous people answering
questions in which the mise-en-scene will be on the complex of New Brighton
which is a very busy area

have Archive material of “let’s go bowling”- a glimpse of bowling once upon a

Interview Number One - After the talk of past bowling leagues, we
interview Steve the (league bowler 7th best in England) whilst he
is talking, we will use cut aways of Steve bowling the ball down the lane
striking the pins.

shot of the bowling lanes talking about why people come bowling

Before
interview number two features, we will do a quick cut away of the bar in
which the voiceover will talk about how people like to enjoy beverages during
bowling games.

Interview Number Two - We will then cut to the interview with George
talking about why he comes bowling and what else he does when he comes
bowling. Whilst George is speaking we will use cut away of George playing
pool and playing laser quest with his friends

over of health and safety when playing bowling whilst a cut away of the lanes
getting oiled and glossed.

Interview Number Three - Cut to interview with Lennie about his job and
what his job consists of whilst Lennie is talking his job and what it
involves we will use cut away of him fixing the machines at the back of the
bowling lanes.

then cut back to Steve interview talking about his trophies and achievements.
We will use cut aways of Steve showing us his trophies Steve playing bowling
with his top that says “Steve Swaby”.

in bowling anymore

health and safety of bowling, the dangers of bowling, the worst accident he
has ever had whilst working and fixing the lanes.

type of people they think are mostly like to come bowling and if they see bowling as a social or
competitive sport

then cut to an interview with the manager of Riverside bowling alley
David Newton who talks to us about what he provides for the public at his bowling alley. Also what type of people come to the bowling alley and if sees bowling as a social or competitive sport. We will have cut aways whilst the interview is taking place of the public playing bowling. |

then cut to an interview with Parents who take their children bowling for
their birthday parties they tell us about why they choose bowling.
