Radio trailer Roll with it

  • Throughout the radio trailer there is a music bed which has been used for the intro and then be quietened down so is at a suitable level so the audience can here the narrator speaking. This keeps the advert up beat and flowing engaging an audience.
  • As soon as the voice over starts speaking she say the word " bowling" so the audience starlight away no its to do with bowling.
  • It then goes on to ask a question " but why have bowling alleys become the main sale of retail parks?" this engages the audience as it is making the audience think about the question keeping them involved and wanting to know more.
  • We have used the same voice over that that we use for our documentary.
  • There are various clips from our documentary throughout the radio advert for example vox poxs and clips from peoples interviews this gives the audience and insight of our documentary.

Print advert draft

Before creating our print advert we decided that we should do a rough sketch of it first. We wanted it to look visually interesting. We decided on a bowling ball with pins by using an effect it will look like that pins are falling over.

For many, bowling is an iconic pass time within American culture but in Britain bowling continues to increase in popularity from a leisure pursuit to a competitive sport.

But why have bowling alleys become the mainstay of retail parks?

[Voxpops]·   ‘I’m always going bowling with my mates, it’s a great laugh’
·   ‘Its fab because I can have a few drinks and a bite to eat as well’

And how do people go from casual bowler to league player?

·         ‘Bowling takes my mind off everyday life’
